Which RDP location is best for forex?

The one closest to your broker’s trading server. For most brokers that is London (UK), Frankfurt (Germany), Amsterdam (Netherlands) or New York (USA). Ask your broker if you are not sure.

How many MT4 or MT5 can I run on one RDP?

On 2 vCore and 4 GB RAM, one or two MetaTrader windows with EAs run well. For more accounts or many charts, choose 4 vCore and 8 GB RAM.

Will my EA keep running if I close Remote Desktop?

Yes. Closing the Remote Desktop window only disconnects you. MetaTrader keeps running on the RDP. Do not click “Sign out”, or MetaTrader will close.

Is a forex RDP the same as a forex VPS?

Yes. A forex RDP is a Windows VPS that you open with Remote Desktop. People use both words for the same thing.
